In our paper are presented the results of the direct experiments carried out for the first time to measure the hydrodynamic efficiency of interaction of the laser radiation with matter. In these experiments we have used the ballistic pendulum method. Under the laser radiation energy of 9,4 J the hydrodynamic
efficiency of interaction of this radiation with Al target is equal to 4.3 %.

Heavy ion stopping effects in plasmas have already been studied for decades. In this article we discuss the specific features of low-density plastic aerogels (cellulose triacetate, CTA). Due to structural effects the energy losses of fast non-relativistic heavy ions in plastic aerogels cannot be described by already existing stopping theories. What additional characteristics should we take into account for this type of solids? Here we discuss the possible mechanisms of low-density structure influence on plasma features for ion stopping.

At the ion accelerator HELIS at the LPI, the neutron yield is investigated in DD reactions within a polycrystalline deuterium-saturated CVD diamond, during an irradiation of its surface by a deuterium ion beam with the energy less than 30 keV.
