There baa been studied the fart heating of electrons in a magnetised plasma with ion-acoustic turbulence under such conditione’ that the firequency of the heating electromagnetic field is comparable with the electron cyclotron one. There bas been investigated the process of rearrangement of initial Maxwellian . elocity distribution into the highly non-equilibrium one caused by non-uniform heating of different electron groups. The absorbed electromagnetic field power has been found as well as its variations with the electron distribution evolution.

A relation between the homogeneous absorption spectrum of impurity centre and spectrum of the photochemical hole, burnt by monchromatic laser irradiation in the inhomogeneous absorption spectrum, is studied. Analytical calculations of the zero-phonon hole shape evolution during the burning process at any relations between the linewidth of the zero-phonon line and that of the laser are performed. The results of the mo?del calculations are confirmed by our experiments with protoporphyrin dication in an amorphous matrix at liquid helium temperature.

It was experimentally shown that the interaction of singlet oxygen containing a small chlorine admixture with the heated metallic surface gives rise to the intensive luminescence. The luminescence spectrum contains two regions lying within the ranges of 650-920 nm and 1070-1305 nm. In each of the regions there is observed a band structure with the characteristic interval around 360 cm-1 . The dependence of the luminescence intensity on the chlorine and singlet oxygen pressure are given.

The intrinsic electromagnetic energy resolution t9J2tt/fE> was obtained. The radius of an electromagnetic shower at the 9QM level t? 9.3 mm. The agreement of the experimental results -with the Honte-Cario predictions is satisfactory.

The problem of interaction- of short laser pulse (light frequency ы , pulse duration, X < l_/v; 1 , skin depth, v , ion velocity) with dense (U ?и ) semi-infinite plasma was solved.We formulated the self-consistent problem of obtaining the electron distribution function and space dependence of electric field in skin layer, and solved the problem for the case of absence of the energy losses from the skin layer. We found self-similar nonstationary electron distribution function and space dependence of electric field in this case, and basing on these solutions, have calculated mean electron energy, absorption coefficient, bremsstrahlung radiation, time dependent skin depth. Finally we discussed the limitations of our theory.

In present paper the analysis on nontrivlal U(l)-bundles connected with magnetic monopole problem Is constructed. The complete set of states on total spaces of principal U( 1 )-bundles, graded by topological number n is obtained. Spectral properties of Hamlltonians of a charge in the field of monopole type connection are examined and a representation in which they aquire a simple form Is found. It is shown that space parity is violated in every sector of the space of states corresponding to the number n * 0. This parity breaking has a topological nature, i.e. it is independent on the choice of connection on the considered bundles

It is shown, that the relatively small value of the maximum development depth for EAS. observed by «Ply’s Eye» experiment, cannot be explained by the rise of bar yon abundance among secondary particles with the increasing collision energy. The smaller partial inelasticity coefficient К of nucleons makes the transition of nuclear cascade energy into the electromagnetic com?ponent slower and results in the deeper maximum development depth.

Optically excited active medium at XeF(A) transition (Л, ? 481 nm) is considered Ггош the viewpoint of its possible application in ultrashort (down to 10 fs) light pulses amplification due to extremely side amplification band of the transition. Photolytical pumping of XeF(C-A) by pulsed discharge or shock wave radiation allows one to amplify light beams with the cross-section at least up to * 1 m2. Taking Into account strong bulk and surface nonlinear effects at high power density it seems feasible to get the output energy up to ~ 1kJ, and the power density in the focal spot up to lO^/cm2. Consideration of spatial-time distribution of the excited XeF(C) molecules, formed in the XePg photodlssociation wave under the action of powerful optical pumping, shows a possibility in principle to design multipass amplifiers with the Inversion running wave, which are intended for the amplification of ultrashort pulsea up to the energies noted above.

№ 129 OPTICAL POLARIZATION OF DENSE sHe GAS

A current status and perspectives of the work on a high density polar ized 3He target are reported. The nuclear spin polarization of sHe if produced by spin exchange with laser pumped Rb atoms. CW Ti:Sapphirt laser pumped by an argon ion laser provided 3 W output at 795 nm and allowed to polarize 3He gas to 50-90 % at the pressure of 3.5 aim. A high pulse repetition rate (10 kHz) Ti:Sapphiie laser has been designed and built. It is pumped by the second harmonics of the two NdrYAG lasers with average power of 20 -f- 30 W at 532 nm. According to preliminary results this laser can produce in tur.i the 5-6 Watts average output and will be capable to polarize the 3Hc target with a thickness [3He]} I np to 1 -r 2 ? 1021cm~2 needed for experiments with slow polarised neutrons in search of time reversal non-invariance.

№ 134 ELECTROMAGNETIC FORM FACTORS IN THE LIGHT FRONT DYNAMICS

It is shown that electromagnetic vertex of a nucleus (and of any bound system), expressed through the wave function in the light front dynamics at relativistic values of momentum transfer, contains a contribution of non-physical form factors increasing the total number of invariant form factors (for the deuteron — from 3 up to 11). This fact explains an ambiguities in the form factors calculated previously. The physical and unphysical form factors are covariantly separated. Explicit expressions for physical form factors of systems with spin 0, 1/2 and 1 through the vertex functions are obtained.

New Lie-algebraic structures (polynomial deformations of Lie algebras) are revealed in some problems of quantum optics and laser physics. Specifically, deformations of oscillator algebras due to extensions of unitary algebras by their symmetric and skew-symmetric tensors are shown to be algebras of dynamic symmetry (ADS) in models of n-photon processes with internal symmetries. Similarly, deformed algebras su,(2) are found as ADS in contextes of generalized Dicke models and frequency conversion ones. We also briefly discuss some possible schemes of employing the results to solving physical problems.

It was established by X-ray diffraction that the as-grown Bi2Sr2CaCUu2O8+б crystals, prepared by a fast growth method, consist of blocks differing by both c-axls lattice parameter and supercell monoclinic deformation. The monoclinic deformation of the supercell Is caused by a small out-of-plane component of the modulation vector. This component can either disappear or Increase after low temperature annealing in atmospheric pressure oxygen. The disappeared out-of-plane component of the modulation vector appears again when sample was annealed In 1-atm argon. The supercell monoclinic deformation seems to be associated with the superconducting transition width as revealed by AC usceptibility measurements of both as-grown and annealed Bi2Sr2CaCU2O8+б crystals along with structural measurements.
