For every bounded trajectory of a particle in arbitrary central field of force a unifornly rotating reference frame may be chosen in which this trajectory becomes closed. This circumstance makes it meaningful to introduce a nonconserving analog of the Bunge-Lens-Laplace vector A called the «precession vector» and to build the SO(4) Poisson brackets algebra with it [2]. The corresponding hidden symmetry is minimally broken in the sense that the vector A keeps its length constant and rotates with constant angular speed. In the present paper the infinetasimal canonical transfornations(from the 0(4)-algebra) caused by the vector Tare integrated up to the finite canonical SO(4)-group transformations. The (bounded motions) phase space of the 3-dimenaional central problem is canonically mapped into a product of two three-dimensional spheres in a four-dimensional space each and the S0(4) acts linearly by rotations on them. The Hamiltonian formalism in this curved phase manifold is obtained. The particle moves with a constant speed along a diametral circle, this circle processing with a constant angular speed. The generators of 0(4,1) algebra axe also given

An interaction of an atom with an intense resonance radiation field is considered. Quasi-energy levels are found which can differ essentially from the usual thin structure of atomic levels at moderate intensities. Spontaneous emission of such a system is considered and an interaction of an atom with a depolarized field is investigated in detail. In the latter case some specific shifts and broadening of emission or absorption lines depending essentially on resonance field polarization and coherency are predicted

Part of the proper X-ray emission of a flare is absorbed in chromosphere and heats the region which creates an optical (in particular H) flare emission. The heating of chromosphere by X-ray emission may be responsible for the diffuse halo around the flare kernels. The optical emission of flare kernels, whose main sources of heating are energetic particles and/or thermal fluxes, may be also increased. By simple model calculations the present paper discusses the possibility of such effects for two flares in August 1972

In the course of scanning the nuclear emulsions, exposed to the 200 0ev/o proton bean, two stars were found in which single electron (ox positron) ваше out nearly from the star centre (with uncertainty about 3). There is somе evidence of the simultaneous production in the мм star of the short-lived particle with the mass in the vicinity of 2 ват. these events may be interpreted as the manifestation of the associated production of the chained meson and baryon. The probability that these events axe generated by the semileptonie (leptonic) decays of known particles or result from the nonebeervation of one of the Dalits pair component was estimated and turned out to be very small

На ИСЗ «Космос-669» 26-31 июля 1974 г. проведена непрерывные измерения излучения атмосферы Земли в двух спектральных участках субмиллиметрового диапазона (вблизи 100 мкм и 500 мкм). Детекторы радиометра охлаждались до температуры жидкого гелия. Получено географическое распределение яркостной температуры излучения при наблюдении в надир. Показано, что основной вклад в излучение на волнах — 500 мкм вносят тропосфера (слой между I и 5 км), а на волнах ~ 100 мкм — нижняя стратосфера (слой между 10 и 26 км). Обнаружены крупномасштабные вариации яркости, связанные с областями различного атмосферного давления в приземных, слоях, а также компактные области резких уменьшений яркости, положение которых коррелирует с областями мощных восходят токов влажного воздуха

Preliminary results of polarization measurements at three solar flares of July 5 and 6, 1974, are given. The measurements were performed at ≈15 keV with Thomson-scattering polarimeter on the «Intercosmos 11» satellite. It decay phase of July 5 flare we obtained P ≈ 2.7%, which did not exclude contribution of some non-thermal processes. At flares of July 6 we found P=1.4% and P=1.1%, respectively, both values lying below the threshold of detection

The theoretical analysis made it possible to reveal the ( MgXIl) satellite lines which were attributed to the transitions in the Mgll ion of the type: The shortwavelength group of satellites hare been observed. The satellite-to-resonance line and line-to-continuum ratio have been used to obtain the electron temperature of the hot1 plasma volume which proved to be of the order 6×10^ °K. The ion temperature derived from the Doppler width of the resonance line was about 8×106 °K

Experiments on superhigh energy hadronic cascades (total energy above 100 ТеV) in lead absorber reveal an anomalous increase of attenuation length which say be as indication of contribution of some new hadrons with interaction features somewhat different from those of usual hadrons (smaller inelasticity or/and cross section, or/and instability with life time ≥/10²-10 sec) compatible with larger mass (≥ 2 GeV). Possible statistical model mechanism of production of such particles explaining threshold behaviour of the phenomenon is discussed

A new method for solving or studying Ising-like models is developed. Calculating partition and correlation functions and studying unsoluable models are possible in a simple way straight from spin interaction hamlltonians. This method is demonstrated here for 1-dioentional systems. In the next paper of this series some solvable and unsolvable 2 and 3- dimentional systems will be considered. Some unsolvable models can be solved by this new method. All the models can h* solved for a finite lattice with any boundary conditions, (continued on page 46)

In this paper by means of the coherent-state method the formulas ore obtained for calculating at an arbitrary moment of time the radiation power of a nonstationary quantum system of N charged particles whose Hamiltonian is a general quadratic form with respect to coordinates and momenta. The transitions are discussed between the coherent states and the Fock states of this system. The radiation is calculated both in the dipole approximation and in the general case when it is necessary to take into account the exponential factors of the vector potential of the radiation field

№ 95 NONLINEAR RESONANCE INSTАВILIТY OF PLASMA IN THE REFLECTION REGION OF AN ORDINARY ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE

The dissipation of energy of an ordinary wave due to its linear transformation at small inhomogeneities of concentration N in the region if high-frequency plasma resonances is determined. It is shown that as soon as the concentration perturbations N exceed the threshold value NTF, they became unstable and increase sharply. The threshold values NTF fall with the increase of the wave intensity and with the decrease of plasma concentration gradient. Instability leads to the destruction of a smooth plasma layer in the resonance region. The inhomogeneous structure arisen is the cause of an intense energy absorption both of the wave inducing perturbation and of any other ordinary wave reflected in the perturbed region. It is shown that the theory under consideration is in agreement with the results of experiments on artificial modification of ionosphere. It permits n simultaneous treatment of the observed anomalous absorption (wide-band attenuation) and field-sligned scattering of radiowaves

for the quadratic systems the Rranck-Condon factors for vibronic transitions in polyatomic molecules with N vibrational degrees of freedom are evaluated in terms of the Hermite polynomiale of several variables. Various particular cases are considered and approximate formulae arе obtained which correspond to small mixing parameters. The way of the exact calculation of the geometrical configuration of a molecule in en excited electronic state (in the harmonic oscillator approximation) is discussed. Due to existence of the dynamical symmetry group for the problem a number of new sum rules for the overlap integrals and recurrence relations for them are obtained. As an example, the calculation of relative intensities of same bands in the 2600 A -system of the abnorption spectrum of benzene is given
