The geometrooptical and wave theory of X-ray propagation across the smooth cylindrical surface has been developed. The angular and spectral pro? parties of the X-ray concave mirrors are considered. On the basis of Maxwell equations the structure of the electromagnetic field near the mirror surface is determined. The frequencies and decrements of the X-ray eigen modes sliding across the concave cylindrical surface are found. If the absorption is negligeable, the quality factor, Q, of the resonator (as well as the mirror reflectivity) is connected with the effect of the wave penetration into the dielectric media at the angles smaller than the critical angle of the total external reflection. ?or calculation of the mirror parameter the available experimental data are used.

Badiation of Magellanic Clounds is discussed in view of the nearest perspectives of observation gamma-astronomy. Expected gamma-ray fluxed are compared according to metagalactic and galactic theories of the cosmic ray origin. The best way to disprove metagalactic models is found to be determining the ratio of gamma-radiation fluxes from SMC and LMC. Gamma-luminosity of the young supernova remnats which can generated many antiprotons is estimated. It is shown that such remnants must have a relatively short phase with a very powerful gamma-radiation.

The decay of the autoionizilng state (AS) is considered in the presence of the resonance electromagnetic field (e.m.f.) connecting AS with other level (descrets or autoionizing). It is shown that this process can be characterised by two decay constants which depend on frequency, intensity and polarisation of the a.w.f. One of this constants is always more or of the order of the field free autoionizing width of AS. But if the e.m.f. parameters obey some conditions the other decay constant can be much smaller than the field free AS width. In this case a life-time of AS in the e.a.f. is a whole can be much more than the field free lifetime of AS. In means that there la a partial stabilization of AS. The AS lifetime increasing is connected with a destructive interference between the autoionizing and ionizing transitions. But there are always the «noninterfering» transitions due to which the stabilization never can be absolute and a long living part of AS population la rather small.

The Monte Carlo method of events generation with weights non-equal to one is suggested for the atmospheric cascades simulation. The exact formulae for distributions, average values and errors, to be necessary for the statistical processing of weighted event* are derived. The use of the method leads to decrease of the com?puter time, required for the events simulation about 100 times and greater. This fact provides one with ample opportunity of the quantitive investigation of events characteristics sensitivity to the model parameters, that was unreal up to now.

Motivated by the study of ultraviolet properties of different versions of supergravities we discuss duality transformations at the quantuai level. Using the background field method we prove on shell quantum equivalence for several pairs of dual field theories known to be classically equivalent. The examples considered include duality in chiral model, duality of scalars and second rank antisymmetric gauge tensors, vector duality and duality of the Einstein theory with coamological term and the Eddington-Schrodinger theory.

The differential cross-sections for elastic scattering and cross-sections for exitation of nuclear level by low energy antiprotons from carbon and oxigen nuclei are calculated. Theoretical curves agree with experimental data at 46.8 MeV which have been obtained at LEAR. We predict the differental cross-seotlons for nuclear level exitation with definite spin projection of exited nucleus. They determine an angular ? — quanta distributions in (p,p?) reactions on nuclei.

The pion system with fixed number of pions H апй fixed charge Щ is considered. The isospin functions for 3- and 4-pion systems are given. The are characterized bу the total isospin T, its projection T3=Q and are the base functions of the Young-Ymanouchi irreducible orthogonal representation of the permutation groups Sn. It is shown how from the total wave function of a given S (or a superposition of a few functions of different T) there follow relations between amplitudes, each of which is characterized by e. particular way of attachment of each charge to the particular momentum. (For definiteness we assume that the quantum numbers other than charge are moments). The squared amplitudes in same cases uniquely determine the weight with which an elementary lave function, characterized by an irreducible representation of Sn, enters into the total wave function. The existence of compound-resonances described by the elementary wave functional is suggested (i.e. N-plon resonances labled by an irreducible representation of Sn and other quantum numbers). For a given оcharge content (I.e. for fixed numbers N+, N-, N0 of ?+, ?-, and ?0 correspondingly) we find tee numbег of times each irreducible representation is contained in the representation realized by the products of one — pion charge functions.

A possibility of selective pumping of an Nd: glass laser by means of electron-beam exited semiconductor laser radiation has been considered. The systems providing the concentration of semiconductor laser radiation may allow pumping of active elements with the efficiency related to stored population inversion up to ≤ 5%, and a pulse repetition rata up to ≈ 1 Rs. The modeling experiment has been made on exciting the laser oscillation in glass samples with Nd34 ion concentration of 4-8x10cm-3 by means of a 2 ns Nd-laser second-harmonic pulse. A simple self-consistent model of a high-temperature turbulent current sheet (HTCS) is oonsidered. The anomalous character of plasma conductivity in a sheet is assumed to be due to gradient instabilities. The possibility of a low threshold of their excitation is demonstrated on an example of temperature-drift instability. Application of the HTCS model to the «hot» or «main» phase of a solar flare is discussed. The model consistently explains the observed properties of this phase.

Vaporization kinetics from a surface Into vacuum la investigated for various transient heating regimes due to intense Irradiation of the surface. One-dimensional theoretical model of the process includes heat conduction into the (surface, vapor flux through a Knudsen layer, and vapor flow without plasma formation. «Transient vaporization kinetics turns out to be more complicated than it was assumed previously. Results of numerical calculations show that there are transient solutions of the nonlinear vaporization problem with a constant value of the flow Mach number M = 1 at the outer edge of the Knudsen layer. Evolution of M depends strongly on variation of radiation intensity.

The coherent structure of electromagnetic fields in plasmas in reason of for the new features of parametric instabilities . Such coherent structure connected with the reflection surface of the electromagnetic waves produces the distributed feedback. Because of this feedback the number of the interacting electromagnetic waves in the processes of the stimulated scattering is twice more than usually. Such double stimulated scattering processes are connected with absolute parametric instabilities. The examples of double simulated Mandel?shtam-Brillouing scattering, double combination (Raman) scattering and parametric decay are discussed.

The Hall conductivity is expressed in terms of classical drift trajectories In the high-H limit. The general connection of бxy with the properties of edge states is established, which explains the quantization of the Hall conductivity. The quantization is shown to be exact in the high-H limit in the infinite system at zero temperature. Тhe finite frequency effects are also discussed and the AG response is related to geometrical characteristics of equipotential lines in the external potential.

The generalization of the usual Ж -multiplication of Wey1 symbols is given and applied to the problem of quantization on some class of submanifolds of phase spaee. This class is defined by the requirement that one half of second class constraints must be linear commutative (in the sense of the Poisson brackets) functions. The modified Ж -multiplication is associative and gives correct classical limit (the Dirac brackets) for the Ж — commutators. The modification is obtained by replacement of the usual derivatives by their covariant projections in the Weyl Ж — multiplication.

Double Mandelstam-Brillouin scattering (DSBS) nonlinear theory in laser-produced plasma presented. DSBS is characterized by the nonlineаг coherent interaction of the pump wave components incident on plasma and reflected from the critical surface with the scattered Stokes components. The excitation thresholds and the stationary nonlinear states corresponding to the main and the higher scattering modes are examined taking into account the effects of the electromagnetic waves absorption general pump wave polarization, density and temperature inhomogneity. It is shown, that under the strong е.m. waves absoription DSBS is generated from the relatively narrow rarefied plasma region. For the main DSBS mode soft excitation takes place whereas for the higher modes hard excitation regimes are revealed.

We present a covenant definition of effective action Г ‘for fields corresponding to different string excitations (scalar, external metric, antisymmetric tensor, …) in termsof string path Integral with external sources. The problem of deriving the gravitational part of Г is reduced to establishing the effective action for a generalized ? -model on a curved 2-dinensional background and subsequent integration over 2-dlmeneional metrics. It is shown that Г contains the Einstein term in a zero slope limit. A consistent formalism is developed for a study of a ground state problem (including the problem of space-time compactifiwtion) in the quantum string theory. It is shown that the stable vacuum exists in which the scalar, cetric and antisymmetric tensor have non-zero background values. This provides a solution to the old «tachyon problem». Generalizations to Fermi string theory and theories of other extended objects (membranes, etc) are also discussed.
